Everything you need to know to get the most out of your investment and keep your hair looking fabulous.

Brush nightly before going to sleep. Sleep in a loose bun or braids to protect your hair and extend the life of curls. Using a silk pillow case will lead to smoother hair.
You can live a normal, active lifestyle- high pony's (wait 1 week after installation), braids, all styles welcome.
You can swim with NBR just be sure to pull your hair tight and in a bun or braids. Add a detangler, oil and brush once out of the water (never put wet hair into a messy bun and allow it to dry, it will mat!)
Use a mineral-based sunscreen, and keep off the extensions, the ingredient avobenzone in sunscreen can turn the hair pink!

Use a shampoo and conditioner recommended by your artist. Salon quality products are a must to protect your investment.
A leave- in conditioner is a great base for any blowout. Focus your product on the mid-length to ends of your hair to avoid your scalp getting greasy too soon.
Always use a heat protectant even if you're not using an iron. They can also protect your hair from harmful UV rays from being outdoors.
Use a hair oil to keep your hair hydrated and healthy. Brush all product to ensure an even distribution.
When brushing start from your ends and work up and ensure you are not tugging too hard.

Rough dry your extensions 90% of the way just using your dryer and hands. (no tugging on super damp hair with a brush) This applies to DRY BARS as well. If you love a weekly blowout, be sure to communicate to the artist styling your hair to NOT round brush extensions from wet to dry.
Section your natural hair from your extensions, pin your natural hair up, and dry extensions FIRST, this will prevent over-drying your natural hair.
Use a round or paddle brush to smooth your hair in one direction, laying the foundation of any style you choose.
Finish your hair with a hair oil to promote health and shine.

Always use a heat protectant to protect the integrity of your hair. Be sure to brush it through after spraying to distribute across all strands.
Stick to 320º - 360º for your iron temperature to reduce damage to your extensions and natural hair.
When curling, run your section of hair through the curling iron to smooth once or twice before placing curls. This will give your extensions a more polished look.
To make your curls last longer, take 1 inch sections and let your hair cool down before brushing it out. You can use your fingers, a wide toothed comb, or a brush to do so.
Finish with some hairspray to keep your style lasting longer, or texture spray to fluff up your hair.

Brush out extensions with brush BEFORE washing, this helps to prevent tangles and matting in wet hair.
When brushing, start from your ends and work your way up to the scalp. Hold hair in one hand (like a ponytail) and brush down.
Follow your Artist's product recommendations. (Below is a list of our recommended products, unless your Artist recommends an alternative for you.)
Shampoo gently between rows, no need for vigorous scrubbing.
Apply a detangler and oil prior to brushing through wet hair after washing.
